About Me

My name is Laura Menucci. I am an Artist and Creative Arts Therapist.

I believe that extraordinary things happen when we are in a creative space, making, viewing, thinking, and connecting. The core of my work has been to enrich the lives of others through the creation and experience of art.

Art-making has always been a part of my life. My earliest memories involve being creative and making art. While earning my Bachelor of Arts in Studio Art at the University of Vermont, I became intrigued by what art could record and communicate about human history and the human experience. During these years, I volunteered to make art with patients within a local program at the UVM Medical Center. This led me to pursue a Master's in Art Therapy and Creativity Development from Pratt Institute.

Since graduating in 2004, my career has included program development and design, curation, education, artistic direction, and project management. As an artist, art facilitator, teaching artist, and creative arts therapist, I have connected and created art with thousands of people of all ages around the world. I have engaged with various client types: corporate, non-profit, educational, healthcare, museum, and municipal.
